On February 26, at the Ontario Masters Athletics indoor championship meet,  Kristen Matthews broke the high  jump record, in her W30 age group, by twenty-five centimetres.  In only her second competition in over ten years, Kristen soared 1.60m – outclassing all the women – and many of the men – in the event!    Later, she added a gold medal in the long jump , leaping fifteen centimetres further than her previous outing.
