Another outstanding performance by HOC athletes at the Royal Canadian Legion and Youth National Championships in Brandon Manitoba. Club athletes won an astonishing SEVEN medals this weekend.
Leading the way was Myles Misener-Daley who completed another triple crown in the Youth sprinting events. Gold medals, all, in the:
100 metres, 10.89 s.
200 metres, 21.79 s.
400 metres, 48.08 s.
Nifaiya Robinson was also a triple individual medallists, scoring gold in two events in the midget category:
200 metres, 22.55 s
300 metres, 34.62 s (meet record!)
and bronze:
100 metres, 11.34 s.
Finally, the youth boys 4 x 100 metre relay team of Misener-Daley, Randy Tshikuna, Daunte Henriques and Marqus Rookwood took silver in a time of 41.99 s.
