HOC alumnus Eli Pawliw won the gold medal in shot put Feb 24 at the OUA championship at York University in his last year of university competition. He threw 2 throws over 17, something he’s been unable to do for the past year, so they were both pb’s. Eli’s winning throw was 17.13 while the silver was 16.64. Eli goes onto CIS in March, ranked in second place.
